When setting up an Email account (Normally Tools / Accounts on the menu of the Email program), remember the following. (details on Hetzner's site as per the link above):

• Always use your complete Email address as username. Eg.  This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
• Use a password that is safe and only you should have access to it.
• Incoming server: pop.yourdomain.co.za (replace yourdomain with your own website name - Eg. pop.mmponline.co.za)
• Outgoing mail server: Use the SMTP server of your internet service provider Eg smtp.telkomsa.net or smtp.mweb.co.za etc. Click here for a list of SMTP servers of different providers in South Africa.

You can also use the SMTP outgoing server of your own domain Eg. smtp.yourdomain.co.za - (Replace yourdomain with your own website name. - Eg. smtp.mmponline.co.za).  - Rather use the above outgoing server settings where possible as this is not the preffered method.

Please note:

If you use the outgoing server of your domain, you also need to do the following manual settings:

Under advanced options (some programs say "more options")

• Tick "My server requires authentication"
• Change the port (Ports Tab) to 587 in stead of 25.
